Signs and symptoms of scoliosis may include:
- Uneven shoulders
- One shoulder blade that appears more prominent than the other
- Uneven waist
- One hip higher than the other

Phase 1: Exercise
The first phase is designed to prepare the body for treatment. It includes warm-up exercises, whole body vibration therapy, and other therapies designed to relax the muscles and get the spine ready for a specific chiropractic adjustment.
Phase 2: Adjustment
The second phase involves specialized chiropractic adjustments that has the chiropractor using his/her hands, equipment, and instruments to manually re-align the patient’s spinal and relief pressure inside the joints.
Advanced mechanical adjusting instruments are used to provide gentle, precise correction that stress the spine in “Mirror Image®” of a patients abnormal curves. Adjustments are also performed on the back, hips, and other areas whenever necessary.
Phase 3: Traction & Active Therapy
The third phase is traction and active therapy. Traction is a very effective technique used to stress ligaments and connective tissue back to normal healthy shapes and alignment.
Active therapy is exercise that activates specific muscle groups along the spine, as well as specific areas of the brain, to change how the brain and the body work together to achieve a balanced, more natural position.
